D420 Devon & Jones Adult Sueded Cotton Jersey Mock Turtleneck

A nice shirt. I like the elasticized collar and cuffs. The collar never seems to get stretched out, even after wearing for an entire day. The fabric is very soft. I have bought 3 of these Devon & Jones shirts, and would buy more if they had a wider array of colors.

Seller was very fast and shirt arrived ahead of schedule. Shirt itself is plenty large enough - the XL is really an XL, even after wash and dry. I am surprised at how light weight the material is for a mock t-neck. I washed it once to check the fit and then put it away until next summer. It is not a cool weather shirt at all but will do fine in warmer weather to keep the sun off. I prefer my turtle necks to be substantial weight rather than thin and breezy. I wear them all winter and then by summer, when they have been washed and dried many times, they are thinned out but still OK for warmer weather. This one will go right to warm weather in new condition.

I'm 5'9" 185 lbs. with 45" chest. I usually buy XL tee's and shirts. My usuals fit a little big, which I like. The Devon and Jones are a touch larger, but I can live with them. The material is medium thin, but not too thin. The neck is perfect, with just the right mock to have embroidery put on, which I have done at a local embroidery shop. The material is soft. After one washing and drying, there was little shrinkage. You can't beat these for the price. Target and Kohl's are twice the price at regular. End of season still costs more than the Devon and Jones. Highly recommend.

Nice quality shirt. The fabric is smooth, not rough like some inexpensive t-s. Fit is about right. The sleeves were initially long but shrunk in the first wash to a reasonable length. The neck is not too tall and has a bit of spandex, so it fits snuggly. The fabric is medium to slightly heavy t-shirt weight. This is not a super-warm shirt, but fine for around the house, or in mild weather with a vest. I also wear it as a an undershirt beneath my Pendleton shirts. As I've gotten older I've lost my tolerance for the wool itchiness. The color is a bit dull, certainly has less sheen than the photo.

Looks good. Fit is a bit large (probably closer to these newer sizes than the ones I grew up with).

I bought this for myself as women's clothes are made for tiny short people. I usually wear a man's xlarge in a Gildan T after some shrinkage. These run a big. The Large is larger than a Gildan xl. I am carefull with drying so maybe you could shrink it more if you dry it on high. I don't. The matterial is just the right thickness - almost the same as the heaviest t-shirt I can find, which is 6.5 oz. It is very soft and smooth, so it is nice looking as a dress up shirt. It's not the type of material that wrinkles and makes little balls, but also does not feel like polyester. It is a nice comfy blend.

Upon the advice of others who have reviewed this shirt, I washed it before I wore it for the first time. It had arrived with sleeves that were slightly too long, but they shrunk to size in the first washing. I hung it up after taking it out of the dryer; it did not need ironing. The neck conformed to my neck the day I wore it, without becoming too loose or folding down. The questions for this review ask for my satisfaction with it being lightweight; I was not looking for a lightweight shirt. It's just the right weight to be warm and comfortable under a sport jacket. And, it's a great substitute for a dress shirt. I'll buy another one.

Well, it is black. It is a black that you should only see after wash a black shirt for forty times. a black that a grey shirt genuinely wants to be black and succeeded only this much black. It is black when there is no light. Nice fabric though and it fits.

My husband is 6 ft. and weighs 179 lbs. I ordered a Medium based on reviews. Glad that I did as it is quite roomy and the sleeves very long. Haven't washed it yet but hope it shrinks a bit.Material nice and cozy.
