I usually take a medium, but bought this in a small from the seller ‘fine intimates’ and its a classic boxy sweatshirt fit (wide, short and slim at cuffs) - just what I was after. Appears to be genuine item - reverse weave and all correct details, love it!

Sized a bit big, but a better fit after washing several times. Otherwise, a quality product.

Bought this and other Champion sweatshirts for my husband at Christmas. He loves them, they fit well, are warm and he loves all the colors I bought. They are a slightly larger fit, but not messy looking providing arm and body room for layering. Great product.

Champion Reverse Weave sweatshirts are superior to any otber brand. I own several in different colors.

Came next day, had no problem with the product, just bigger than expected, however no size smaller so can't exchange.

Quality appears to be good -- however, I didn't wear it at all and of course didn't wash it. The first problem was that the "large" was more like a "2x" (based on other clothing we have) and the second problem was the color. The description states "canyon" and suggests a clay color (as in the Grand Canyon) which would make one think the color is a bit of an orange brownish color. This is very distinctly orange -- nothing like the description or the image.

I am a fan of good quality sweatshirts and decided to order some of the best. Now it seems that I have conducted a fairly conclusive sweatshirt comparison test and decided to share the results. I purchased 7 sweatshirts and all at retail price from Amazon or the lowest priced seller on the Internet. Each sweatshirt was inspected for construction integrity, quality, durability and weighed for cotton weight and then price compared by weight. In other words how much are you paying per pound of cotton? Here are the results of the 3 most notable standard crewneck sweatshirts available. If you need the most severely heavy duty, super solid construction sweatshirt, that is virtually indestructible, then you need to buy the Kellsport crewneck sweatshirt, which is actually 95% cotton-5% poly, but the 5% poly is just blended into the under-side fleece....this garment is constructed like no other sw,eatshirt on the planet! It will take about a year to break-in with repeated washing, and extra abuse not withstanding! It weighs in at 2.15 pounds for a medium size sweatshirt -Cost: $54.50 - Price/pound = $25.35/lb. If you're looking for the best, standard, crewneck, relatively thick, 100% cotton sweatshirt available, that is well constructed (although lesser quality than was produced by Champion six to eight years ago), then you want to buy the Champion - 'Reverse Weave' sweatshirt (Champion used to produce a 'premium' reverse weave sweatshirt that was the best in the business, because it was 15% to 20% heavier). This version of the reverse weave sweatshirt weighs in at 1.56 pounds for a medium size sweatshirt - Cost: $24.09 - Price/pound = $15.44/lb. So you can see that the Champion 'reverse weave' sweatshirt at $15.44/lb is a considerable bargain compared to the Kellsport at $25.35/lb, but you have to keep in mind that the Kellsport is super heavy duty compared to the lighter weight Champion. The Kellsport is in the league by itself! Lastly the CottonMill sweatshirt. This sweatshirt is definitely comparable to the Champion in terms of it's 100% cotton content and high quality construction, but the cost is through the roof! Is weighs in at 1.43 pounds for a medium size - Cost: $68.00 - Price/pound = a whopping $47.55/lb, which is almost double the cost of the KellSport, which is 43% heavier than the CottonMill. But the real comparison is between Champion and CottonMill, because they are almost identical (except that Champion is a little thicker/heavier). If you buy the CottonMill sweatshirt, you are paying in excess of 3 times the $/lb more then you pay for the Champion sweatshirt. It's a total trip to the cleaners. I wasn't planning on making this comparison a public commentary, but when I saw that the CottonMill quality just didn't deserve the high price that I paid, and was in fact simply egregious over charging, I decided to return it, but they wouldn't take it back, so I decided to warn others from making the same mistake. So if you need indestructible, buy KellSport, need best value and better than average proven durability and longevity, buy Champion 'Reverse Weave', need to look good, be warm and feel like an idiot, buy the CottonMill
