Description

The 4700 Clean Up Cap from '47 Brand is a 100% cotton garment-washed twill in the shape that has become the default for everyday headwear. Garment washing is applied after the cap is sewn rather than to the fabric alone, so the whole piece comes out softened together, with the panels, seams, and visor all broken in rather than a soft fabric stitched into a stiff shell.

The Clean Up silhouette is unstructured across six panels at a low profile, meaning nothing stiffens the front and the panels fold in to follow the shape of the head while the crown sits flat and close. That relaxed shape is what separates it from a structured ballcap and why it reads as casual rather than sporty. The visor comes pre-curved and ready to wear with no shaping needed. The closure is a '47 snap tri-glide buckle, which adjusts smoothly and finishes the back more cleanly than a plastic snapback.
