    This light windbreaker meets several of my needs. It is light and warm while taking walks. The hood blocks wind. It closes with snaps which was one of the main reasons I purchased this particular jacket. I wanted a light jacket that I could quickly rip open to access my concealed carry weapons.I haven't been out in any downpours with it. I suspect it would quickly become soaked. It isn't made to be water resistant.
