Edwards 2733 is a men's flat-front dress pant from the Redwood & Ross Collection; Edwards Garment's premium suiting and dress separates line built for hotel, restaurant, financial, entertainment, and security uniform programs where a dress pant needs to project a polished, formal appearance through extended wearing without the maintenance demands of a fully dry-clean-only wool garment. At 11 to 11.5 oz and made from a 55% polyester, 45% worsted wool Signature fabric blend, the 2733 carries the visual weight and drape of a proper dress trouser rather than the flat appearance of a standard polyester uniform trousers.

Worsted wool is a tightly spun, smooth-surfaced wool that holds a crease, resists wrinkling, and drapes cleanly through extended wear; the construction characteristic that distinguishes a traditional dress trouser from a standard service pant. The 55% polyester content in the blend adds durability, helps the pant retain its shape through the wearing cycle, and reduces the laundering frequency that a pure wool pant requires.

At 11 to 11.5 oz, the fabric sits at a year-round suiting weight, between a lightweight summer fabric and a heavy winter weight, which makes it practical for uniform programs worn across multiple seasons in indoor service environments. The split waistband provides a more contoured, formal fit at the waistline than a standard straight waistband, and two front and two set-in back pockets cover both formal trouser appearance and practical storage requirements. Pants are hemmed to the indicated inseam before shipping, so buyers should specify the inseam at the time of order. Ladies' companion is style 8733.
